Dear Elaine Smith
I am Emel,an english teacher in a coastal town in İzmir,Turkey. Our students are between 12-14.We are studying on a comenius project about harms of fast food and benefits of local and slow food.Day by day we are losing our local food culture with the increase of fast food consumption. So,health problems such as obesity, especially in our teenagers' life, are increasing too.We have made a detailed study for our activities and are looking for our partners to join us.By the way,our town is a member of Cittaslow. Our partners are Belgium,Poland and Romania. It is a ready project. We will be very pleased if you join us.Deadline is 19th February. Please write me very soon.I am looking forward to your message.
Best Regards

Hello from the southeast part of TURKEY..:))
I am an English teacher. We have a small but lovely primary school in ADIYAMAN.Our school is very close to the famous historical place in the world, named NEMRUT, Mount combines 8-10 meter-tall statues, the likes of which are to be seen nowhere else in the world, a pyramid located at a height of 2,000 meters, a king's tomb, whose precise location has not yet been determined, the world's oldest horoscope, and a mixture of ancient Greek and Persian art styles. Thus, it is little surprise that archeology circles refer to NEMRUT Mount as "THE EIGHT WONDER OF THE WORLD.''...That's why ,we would like to set up a project about history and geograpy...If you are interested, please contact with us..Or we can work on any kind of Comenius project..
By the way, last year our group of teachers were chosen the most hardworking and quality group in TURKEY..:)) I mean,we are ready to study day in and day out..
Hope to get in touch in a short time.. e mail address

Dear Eliane Smith,

I am writing on behalf of an European pre-school education consortium, seeking for European partners involved in pre-school education.

We are approaching you with an offer for partnership under our project proposal, entitled "Using arts for developing social and civic competences in pre-school education"
The project will be presented by Bulgarian coordinating partner - All-day kindergarten ROSITSA (http://cdgrositsa.atspace.org/ENGLISH/program-en.html) in partnership with 5 more European kindergartens.

We would be happy if you join our consortium and begin a partnership with us.

Please find attached the project summary and let us know whether you are interested to submit the project proposal to your National Agency by February the 20th. If so, please fill in your partnership information in the file that we send attached and mail it back by February 13th, the latest.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards:

Izmir is the third largest city in Turkey and the main center for exports. It was the site of the second church scolded by John in Revelation and the home of martyred Polycarp.A number of synagogues function as places of warship for the Jewish comunity.Tourists who stay here find it a useful center from which to explore the whole Aegean region. In addition, there is much to see in Izmir itself.

A few ruins from the Hellenistic or Roman city of Smyrna are visible in place:the excavated market underneath the Kadifekale fortress,a very short stretch of Romanroad near the crest of Esrefpasa Caddesi and the Roman aqueduct in Buca.Kadifekale itself on the top of Mt.Pagus is medieval in date.Historical places like Ephesus and Meryemana (Virgin Mary’s Home) are also placed here.

In this historical athmosphere, where muslims and christians have lived in a friendly way together, our school “Gurpinar Primary School” comes with its twenty-nine teachers ,six hundred thirty students and two maid servants. Our school has sports activities in cross, girl’s football and boy’s football branches. Also, courses for making maquette planes for students is going on in our school now.

Our Project whis is named as “Let One’s Imagination Run Away With One And Create The School Of Visions” aims to help our pupils to raise their awareness of what it means to be a young citizen in Europe. We believe that the path to living together in Europe starts at school. We want our students’ to learn how to communicate in another language or with a foreigner.By the help of this Project the students’ cultural awareness will be refreshed and their social abilities will be increased. In the communication period they will get technological and digital abilities and their entrepreneurship soul will be nourished. We,the teachers, will be able to help them to improve their creativity too.
